Rating here is what trains the model. Why you skipped it matters more than that you skipped it — “too basic” moves the depth dial for that subject, “not interested” moves the topic dial, and “less from this channel” moves the channel. A bare thumbs-down teaches all of them a little and none of them well.
A drive is music or talk, never blended. A bucket is a rule, not a saved track list, so it is re-shuffled every time — and the finished ride is written back into Navidrome as a real playlist, so it shows up in whatever you already use in the car. Sonic buckets are AudioMuse's clusters; artist buckets are discographies (detected by counting tracks, not by matching the name).
A bucket is a rule, re-evaluated each drive. For genres or artists, separate several with commas.
These groups are computed from your Car watch playlists, not written by hand — each is named after its own strongest term and holds the words that travel with it. Rename or re-derive them any time. Gain pushes a subject up or down. Depth penalises introductory framing (“setup guide”, “for beginners”) for that subject without touching the subject itself.
Ride audio is deleted once it is old enough — it is a re-downloadable copy of a public video. This is what is kept instead: what was chosen, why, and what you did with it. Written to the NAS as JSON too, so it stays readable without this app. Press Keep on any video in a ride to hold its audio indefinitely.
